Privacy policy

Last updated: June 2026

The short version

WithVibe is self-hostable. When you run it on your own infrastructure, your code, prompts, and data stay there — a self-hosted deployment doesn't send them back to us. This policy covers the withvibe.dev website and the people who contact us or publish to the plugin marketplace.

The self-hosted product

If you self-host WithVibe, it runs entirely within your own environment. We don't host your repositories and don't receive your source code, your prompts, your environment data, or your team's activity. The AI models you use are called with your own API keys, directly from your infrastructure to the provider you choose.

What this website collects

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, rough location, device). This relies on cookies and is aggregate, not used to identify you personally.
  • Contact & pilot forms. If you use the contact or pilot application form, we collect what you submit (such as your name, email, and message) so we can reply.
  • Publisher accounts. Publishing to the plugin marketplace uses GitHub sign-in. We receive your GitHub identity (username, email, avatar) to create and manage your publisher account.

How we use it

To reply to you, operate the plugin marketplace, and improve the website. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it except with the service providers that help us run the site (for example, analytics and email delivery).

Your choices

You can block analytics cookies in your browser. To ask what data we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email us at our contact page and we'll take care of it.

Changes & contact

We'll update this page if our practices change, and revise the date above. Questions about privacy? Reach us through the contact page. WithVibe is operated by the team behind withvibe.
